Uma Zielinski

Uma Zielinski, Executive Benefits Consultant, partners with credit unions to design and implement Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs) that align with leadership retention and recruitment goals. With more than 25 years of experience advising financial institutions, she combines strategic insight with a client-first approach, ensuring executives and boards receive benefit solutions tailored to their long-term needs. Known for her ability to understand complex challenges and deliver actionable strategies, Uma helps credit unions strengthen their leadership teams with confidence.

Before joining PARC Street Group, Uma served for more than nine years as Regional Vice President for a national consulting firm specializing in vendor strategy and growth for financial institutions, where she guided banks and credit unions on vendor selection strategies, account acquisition and growth, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. She also managed sales teams across the Midwest and Southwest, where she was responsible for cultivating client relationships and expanding market presence. Earlier in her career, she worked with Deluxe Corporation, selling financial products and services to C-suite executives at banks and credit unions. These experiences gave Uma a deep understanding of financial institution operations and the ability to design solutions that meet both immediate needs and long-term goals.

Uma earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University. She and her husband live in Ohio where they enjoy traveling across the country in their RV and managing short-term rental properties in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio and coastal Georgia. Uma was a founding member of the Hocking Hills Lodging Owners Association, where she continues to serve as Chair. She and her husband have two adult sons – one in college and the other a commercial photographer.
